Mackenzie Guy | MHS Class of 2014 Senior Rep

It already seems like ages ago that our first class of 2014 senior representative paid us a visit to get her senior portraits taken. When Mackenzie Guy of Mapleton High School stepped into our studio, it was evident that we had a fun shoot ahead of us. With her outgoing personality and gorgeous smile, Mackenzie is definitely the kind of gal we want as a representative of our studio.

After high school, Mackenzie plans to go to college and major in physical therapy so she can hopefully attain her dream job of working as a physical therapist for star athletes, like LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. With her love of sports, it's no wonder that her favorite extracurricular activities are basketball and volleyball. She may be able to palm a basketball with ease, but Mackenzie would love to be able to dunk, too.

When asked who inspired her to be a better person, Mackenzie said that her mom inspires her.

"She's a loving person, and she always puts others in front of herself. She's hardworking, and it most definitely shows. I love her," says Mackenzie.

The most important thing Mackenzie has learned in her life thus far is that life is too short to worry about silly things. She says it's important to always be and love yourself and do what ultimately makes you happy.

Finally, Mackenzie's favorite quote is, "Laugh as much as you breathe, and love as long as you live." This quote makes her realize all the good and happy things in her life and forget the negatives. We can assure you that while we were working with Mackenzie, she was full of laughs and had us laughing with her goofy antics and jokes.

Mackenzie, you were a true joy to work with, and we wish you all the best as you go through your final year at Mapleton High School. And if you'd ever like to treat us to a blizzard at DQ, we'd be totally okay with that. Thank you for representing us this year!
