Montgomery Students in the Christmas Spirit

The students of Montgomery were decking the halls and wishing for some figgy pudding today as they wrapped up their final day before Christmas break. Students of the Montgomery Intermediate School East choir spread their Christmas cheer serenading their audience with those familiar holiday tunes.

When the staff from the Central Office took center stage, the energy in the gymnasium where all were gathered reached an all-time high. Led by superintendent Dr. Marrah on guitar, both students and staff joined in singing Christmas carols. So filled with the Christmas spirit, some students even took to dancing with staff members!

Being able to witness so much fun and laughter filling the room as faculty and students sang and danced to those holiday tunes certainly got me more in the Christmas spirit. Had the Grinch been present, I'm quite sure his heart would have grown three sizes from the joy that was very apparent at Montgomery today.

I'd like to encourage you, like the students and staff of Mongomery, to spread some Christmas cheer today.

"Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time."
